PPMI, together with external experts, will help EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology to finalise and test their impact framework.
EIT is a jewel of the EU’s innovation ecosystem. It is a unique organisation because it fosters innovations by bringing together all key players of the "knowledge triangle": businesses, education and training institutions, and research organisations.
By the end of 2019, EIT had already supported 2000+ new business ventures, raised 1.5B EUR investments, created 6100+ jobs, helped to develop 900+ new products and services, established 50+ innovation hubs across Europe, as 2300+ graduates had completed EIT-supported higher education study programmes.
The EIT impact framework will be an innovative monitoring system that will enable evidence-based evaluation of EIT results and impacts, impact-led planning, and results-based investment.
