NESET research on micro-credentials presented at an education symposium

PPMI Senior researcher Greta Kirdulytė has recently presented the findings of an analytical report on micro-credentials, developed for the Network of Experts working on the Social dimension of Education and Training (NESET), coordinated by PPMI since 2015.

Greta’s presentation on “Micro-credentials in Higher Education” was part of the Annual Symposium, organised by the Institute for Advanced Studies in Education and Training (IH2EF). The presentation is based on the 2020 NESET analytical report “Towards a European approach to micro-credentials: a study of practices and commonalities in offering micro-credentials in European higher education“,  co-authored by Dominic Orr and PPMI’s Research director Mantas Pupinis.

Watch the conference recording to learn more about the scenarios for using micro-credentials in higher education, the case of New Zealand's education and training system, and more.
